How I got here
I am Vinh Le Gia Ha, a mechanical engineering student at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. I grew up in Vietnam and came to the United States to study engineering. I am in my senior year, graduating in May 2027.
What I work on
My work sits between design and the floor. At Applied Materials I developed a machine-vision inspection system and integrated collaborative robots into automated test applications. At SCAFCO I worked on roll forming lines, tolerances and plant layout. At Gonzaga I lead production work in the machine shop, where I machine, weld and fabricate parts other people design.
